Introduction
The textbook indicates that to maintain a televangelism ministry, fund-raising must become part of the message. The textbook credits R. Frankl with saying that the “message is transformed to conform to the needs of the program and the audience.” According to K. Roberts in 1995, in order “to meet those needs, televangelism must become a form of entertainment to maintain the interest of viewers who may readily switch channels.”
